Harbor Protect is designed for project folders, DAW sessions, stems, samples, photos, videos, documents, media libraries, and archives. It protects the files and folders you choose rather than limiting you to one file type.Can I back up folders from more than one drive?
Yes. Collections can group folders from multiple drives into one organized project so they can be protected together. Collections are included with Standard and Pro.Does Harbor Protect support cloud backups?
Standard and Pro are planned to support Amazon S3 in addition to local backup destinations. Availability may vary during the Alpha as cloud features are completed and tested.Does Harbor Protect replace my original files?
No. Harbor Protect copies selected files to the destination you choose. Your original project files remain in their source locations unless you intentionally manage or remove them outside Harbor Protect.How does restoring work?
You can restore protected files to their original location or choose another destination. Restore options depend on your plan, with advanced restore functionality reserved for Pro.Is Harbor Protect currently available?

Agreement, License, and Purchases
Effective Date: August 1, 2026These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase, download, installation, and use of Harbor Protect (the "Software"), provided by Renn Music Productions ("Renn Music," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.1. Software License. Subject to these Terms and payment of the one-time purchase price, Renn Music grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Software for personal or internal business purposes. The Software is licensed, not sold, and no ownership rights are transferred to you.2. Restrictions. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, circumvent security or licensing controls, remove proprietary notices, use the Software unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, or use the Software to develop a competing product, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.3. Purchase and Refunds. Harbor Protect is sold as downloadable software for a one-time purchase price unless otherwise stated at checkout. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND CANNOT BE CANCELED AFTER PURCHASE, EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND OR CANCELLATION RIGHT IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. You are responsible for reviewing product information and system requirements before purchase.4. Eligibility. There is no stated minimum age. However, you must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you cannot legally enter a binding contract on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.
Backups, Updates, and Third-Party Services
5. Backups and Your Responsibilities. Harbor Protect assists with organizing, copying, monitoring, and restoring files, but no backup system can guarantee that files will never be lost, corrupted, omitted, overwritten, or inaccessible. You are solely responsible for correctly configuring sources and destinations, verifying completed backups, maintaining multiple independent copies of important data, regularly testing restores, protecting devices and credentials, and complying with laws and third-party terms. Do not rely on Harbor Protect as the sole copy of critical data. Renn Music is not a data-storage provider and does not assume custody of your files merely because you use the Software.6. Updates and Compatibility. Renn Music may provide updates, patches, improvements, or new versions at its discretion. Your purchase does not guarantee any particular update, feature, operating-system compatibility, cloud integration, or future version unless expressly stated in writing. Changes by operating-system vendors, hardware manufacturers, storage providers, or other third parties may affect operation of the Software.7. Third-Party Services. The Software may interact with third-party hardware, storage devices, operating systems, cloud platforms, or services. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms and policies. Renn Music is not responsible for their availability, security, pricing, compatibility, conduct, or changes.
Ownership, Disclaimers, and Legal Terms
8. Ownership. The Software, documentation, branding, designs, code, and associated intellectual property are owned by Renn Music or its licensors. You retain ownership of your files and content.9. Disclaimer of Warranties. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RENN MUSIC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. RENN MUSIC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY SYSTEM, OR CAPABLE OF PREVENTING EVERY INSTANCE OF DATA LOSS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.10. Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENN MUSIC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA; LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; REPLACEMENT SERVICES; OR LOSS OF USE. RENN MUSIC'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT. These limits apply regardless of legal theory and do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.11. Termination. Your license terminates automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Upon termination, stop using and delete the Software. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain effective.12. Nevada Law. These Terms are governed by Nevada law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to a legally required alternative forum must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nevada, and each party consents to that jurisdiction.13. Changes; Severability; Entire Agreement. Renn Music may revise these Terms prospectively by posting updated Terms with a revised effective date. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. Information We Collect
Effective July 20, 2026Renn Music Productions ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Harbor Protect website and software.Information you provide. We may collect your name, email address, and message when you contact us, join an alpha or mailing list, request support, or make a purchase. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers; we do not receive your complete payment-card number.Website information. Carrd and services used on this site may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and cookies or similar technologies needed to operate, secure, and understand the site.Harbor Protect software. Harbor Protect processes the files, folders, paths, and backup destinations you select on your device. Using the software does not by itself upload your file contents to Renn Music Productions. If you choose a third-party cloud destination, that provider processes the data under its own terms and privacy policy.
How We Use and Share Information
We use information to provide and improve Harbor Protect, respond to questions and support requests, manage alpha access and purchases, communicate service or product updates, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, and comply with law.We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, process payments, send communications, provide support, or operate the business. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. Service providers may use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their applicable terms.
Your Files, Choices, and Rights
You control which sources and destinations Harbor Protect uses. Backups sent to a local drive or a cloud account you configure remain subject to your settings and the destination provider's practices.You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to legal and operational requirements. We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for support, accounting, security, and legal obligations.We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Harbor Protect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
